The presentation by FrieslandCampina Kievit of an ARA and DHA enhanced, protein free micro-encapsulate, as an exemplary innovation, will illustrate this.
This innovative micro-encapsulate enables the incorporation of nutritional beneficial long chain poly-unsaturated fatty acids (LC-PUFA) in hypoallergenic infant formula that are devoid of proteins or other milk-derived allergens.
This breakthrough technology has been nominated and recently awarded with the 2009 Global Infant Nutrition Technology Innovation Award from Frost & Sullivan.
